Who we are
Orrstown United Brethren in Christ Church helps the people of our community and beyond with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to create a friendly gathering that people look forward to visiting each week. And we strive to show the grace and forgiveness of God to everyone we encounter. We are a family of believers where people can come and find healing for their souls. We are a place where God’s children love to come to learn. We nurture our fellowship with the only true God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Our History
Orrstown UB Church was founded in 1895, with the original church being constructed as a wood structure. Only the cemetery remains today as our current church was rebuilt as a larger brick structure in 1950. Additions were built on to the church in the 1990s, with the construction of two classrooms, two handicap accessible restrooms, and a nursery. Twenty-six pastors have served the congregation over 129 years, along with Thirty-two pastorates, with six of those men serving twice.
